PATA Singapore Chapter Exco lead a self funded delegation to Bhutan from 04 Oct to 08 Oct 2016 with
the following missions:
1. Contribution to the Women Association of Changjiji Village to empower them to achieve financial independence. Total amount raised was S$6,000.
Mr Brett Tollman, Mr & Mrs Tan Chee Chye, Mr & Mrs Darren Ng, Mr & Mrs Steve Cheng,
Mr & Mrs Jessie Phua & Mr Robin Yap contributed S$1,000 each toward this initiative. They will use this money to purchase new
machineries and equipment to improve the quality of their scarves and other hand woven products.
2. Thanks to Canon Singapore who contributed 10 cameras for two schools in Thimphu ( Motithang Higher Secondary School and Zilulha Middle Secondary School) to set up their photography club.
